She brings experience working on high-level transactions and governance matters across a range of industries, including sports and entertainment, with an approach that is both strategic and grounded in practical business realities.
Prior to founding Modera Law, Zainab practiced at a leading sports and entertainment law firm in Canada, where she was involved in complex matters engaging international governing bodies such as FIFA. Having worked on complex, cross-border matters early in her career, she brings a level of insight and perspective that informs her approach to client work.
Zainab holds a Master of Arts from the University of Toronto and a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School. Her work is defined by a thoughtful, strategic approach and a commitment to providing clear, practical guidance across each stage of a client’s journey.
